1. Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of:
One of the projects I’m especially proud of is my first official trance release, Victory. Although I had been producing trance for years, Victory was my first official release in that genre. Before that, I had released a techno track, but trance has always been my true passion. Victory opened the door for me to release five trance tracks in a row (three released, two more on the way), and it marked a turning point in my sound. The arrangement and sound design of that track helped me connect more deeply with trance and begin to discover my signature style.
2. What’s the biggest misconception about DJing and producing?
A major misconception is that DJing is just playing songs or pushing buttons. But being a good DJ means truly understanding music and having the ability to create a unique experience. You need to listen to a lot of music to be able to distinguish what fits each moment. There’s no such thing as “bad” music—it’s about context and intention. DJs who are also producers tend to have a deeper connection with the tracks they play, because they understand the layers and emotions within the music.
3. How would you describe your music production style and genre?
My style blends trance, techno, bass house, and progressive house. Energy is at the core of everything I produce. I’ve always loved trance because of its emotional power and timelessness—I consider it the “mother” of all electronic genres. I also enjoy exploring more modern takes on these genres and fusing them in unique ways.
4. What styles of music do you usually DJ?
I DJ a wide range of genres, including trance, techno, EDM, bass house, and future house. I enjoy mixing classic vibes with futuristic sounds to create high-energy and emotionally engaging sets.
5. As a DJ, analog or digital and why?
I prefer a hybrid setup—combining the precision of digital with the warmth and character of analog. Both have unique strengths, and using them together gives me the flexibility and richness I need for creative performances.
6. What do you like most about music production?
I love sound design and rhythm creation. As a music student, I’ve studied rhythm deeply, and it plays a big role in how I structure my tracks. Combining unique rhythmic patterns with custom-designed sounds is my favorite part of the process.
7. How long have you been producing and DJing?
I’ve been producing and working in music professionally for around 10 years. It’s been a long journey of growth, learning, and finding my voice.
8. What’s your typical work process when producing a new track?
My creative process usually begins with building melodies and rhythms. These two elements are the foundation of every track I create. Once I establish the musical core, I build the rest of the arrangement and focus on sound layering and energy flow.
9. Tell us about your studio setup.
My studio includes a high-quality universal audio interface and several analog synthesizers: Korg Prologue XD, Korg Monologue, and Roland System-8. I also have a favorite synth that adds character to my tracks. This setup gives me a wide range of tools for both experimental sound design and polished production.
10. Can you share one DJ tip?
A great DJ knows how to read the room and play the right music for the right moment. For me, the most powerful sets come from DJs who perform their own tracks. Playing your own music brings an unmatched level of authenticity and emotional connection.
11. What other musicians or music producers inspire you?
I’m inspired by producers and DJs who create and perform their own tracks. That’s where the magic really happens—when the artist has a deep connection to the music they’re sharing.
12. What are some upcoming events or projects you are excited about?
I’m currently focusing on new trance projects while also experimenting with other genres. I’m excited to push my boundaries creatively while staying rooted in the trance sound that defines me.
13. Where can we find out more about your music and DJ schedule?
My music is available on Spotify, Beatport, Amazon, and all major platforms. I also share updates on my Instagram and Facebook pages, where I’ll be announcing new releases and upcoming performances in the coming weeks.
Looking forward to the broadcast on May 23rd!
